Attention Deficit Disorder Support Group National Alliance for the Mentally Illness (NAMI)
Attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) is a condition in which characterized by inattention, hyperactivity and impulsivity. ADHD is most commonly diagnosed in young people, according to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). An estimated 9% of children between ages 3 and 17 have ADHD. While ADHD is usually diagnosed in childhood, it does not only affect children. An estimated 4% of adults have ADHD. -

Offers a variety of programs, resources and information for persons with disabilities. MSD has served thousands of Mississippi children and adults living with disabilities since 1959. We are a 501 (c) 3 statewide non-profit organization and a registered charity with the Mississippi Secretary of State. To support our unique programs and services, we depend on funding from donations from individuals and corporations, grants from foundations, and proceeds from special fund raising events. -

SWMMHC is considered Region Eleven.Region Eleven consists of nine (9) counties: Adams, Amite, Claiborne, Franklin, Lawrence, Jefferson, Pike, Walthall and Wilkinson in Southwest Mississippi. -
Weems Community Mental Health Center/ Community Mental Health Center – Region 10
Established in 1970, Weems Community Mental Health Center has offices in each of the nine counties that make up Region Ten of the Mississippi Community Mental Health System. Counties served by Weems include: Clarke, Jasper, Kemper, Lauderdale, Leake, Neshoba, Newton, Scott and Smith. -
Delta Community Mental Health Services/Community Mental Health Center – Region 5
Established in 1970, Delta Community Mental Health Services provides mental health care services in Washington, Bolivar, Sharkey and Issaquena counties in Mississippi. It provides individual, group, marital and family counseling services. The adult work activity programs offered by the center include classes in home management, social skills, academics, and community and home leisure time management. -
Region 4 Mental Health Services
Region IV Mental Health Services provides out-patient services to individuals in need of mental health, mental retardation, and/or alcohol and drug abuse services. Region IV has an out-patient facility in Alcorn, DeSoto, Prentiss Tippah and Tishomingo Counties
