Mississippi Coast Interfaith Disaster Task Force
Our Mission: To enhance disaster preparedness, recovery, and recovery, and resilience n the Mississippi Coast by strengthening the ability of faith-based organizations to meet the needs of their constituents and those who are most vulnerable. In fulfilling this missison we do a variety of things, including disaster preparedness education and training. We offer a varitey of programs, including a Suicide Prevention Program, Domestic Violence Training and are a part of a collaboration of partners that can offer mental ealth counseling. -

Mississppi Coalition Against Domestic Violence
The Domestic Violence Shelters of Mississippi are there to provide services to the families affected by domestic violence. Shelter services include: 24 hour crisis line, temporary housing, advocacy and referral programs, counseling, transportation and more. Find a shelter on the website. The agency was established in 1972 as one of the 15 comprehensive mental health centers in Mississippi. Also known as "Singing River Services", the agency maintains a global approach to services.
