Specialized Treatment Facility
The mission of Specialized Treatment Facility is to promote and strengthen the mental health and the education of up to 48 adolescent males and females who are experiencing behavioral difficulties in their homes, schools, and communities. Specialized Treatment Facility will enhance the Department of Mental Health mission to a better tomorrow by making a difference in the lives of Mississippians with mental illness and substance abuse one person at a time. -
Ellisville State School
Ellisville State School is one of six state operated regional programs providing comprehensive services to persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities. The program is under the jurisdiction of the Mississippi Board of Mental Health. Administratively, it is in the Bureau of Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities division of the Mississippi Department of Mental Health. -

T.K. Martin Center for Technical and Disability – Mississippi State University
Resource - The T.K. Martin Center provides comprehensive, multi-disciplinary evaluations to remove limitations through the application of assistive technology, allowing individuals to participate in educational, vocational and leisure activities to the fullest degree they choose. The comprehensive nature of the services offered ensures that the correct solutions are achieved efficiently and effectively, with needs being met in a one-stop shop. The staff of the T.K. Martin Center consists of a specialized team of Speech-language Pathologists, Occupational Therapists, Special Educators, and Rehabilitation and BioServices,Medical | Engineers. Facilities at the center include adaptive computer laboratories, design and fabrication workshops, a driver rehabilitation program, a seating and mobility center and specialized evaluation rooms. The fusion of modern facilities and resources with a staff dedicated to the realization of untapped human potential ensures a comprehensive approach with integrated, composite outcomes for persons with disabilities.
