During any type of evacuation in the state, the Mississippi Public Broadcasting Network will broadcast that evacuation and traffic information on all MPB radio stations. -

Domestic Violence Program The Center domestic violence program provides 24-hour, 7 day per week crisis intervention services to women and children who are victims of domestic violence. The crisis line is staffed by trained personnel who can assist women who call in with accessing our domestic violence shelter if needed or other community resources. -

We do this by providing tasty, nutritious meals for the body, a clean bed for the night, and a message of hope in Jesus Christ for the soul. We also offer programs for those seeking biblical life transformation. At Gateway Rescue Mission, we preach the Good News of Jesus Christ to the poor. The Bible proclaims a message of release to those in captivity to drugs, alcohol and poverty; recovery of sight to the spiritually blind, freedom to those oppressed by mental illness; and the glorious hope that we live in the favorable year of the Lord. -

Haven House Domestic Violence Shelter has provided victims and their families with a safe haven and support while helping them gain independence through self-empowerment and education. Haven House offers both emergency shelter for crisis situations as well as long-term transitional shelter for women and children. Thousands of victims have passed through these doors making life changing commitments to themselves and their children for a safer and healthier future. -

Helping Hands Ministries of Oktibbeha County
Helping Hands Ministries of Oktibbeha County (HHMOC) was founded in 1996 to assist low income families and individuals in the Oktibbeha County area with utility bills, rent/mortgage, prescription drugs, or any other basic need. Locally, Helping Hands has aided over 500 needed families this year. -
Recovery House, INC
Recovery House, Inc. provides substance abuse treatment for females 18 and older. Recovery house, Inc. Operates several familities with a homelike envionment and provides a comprehensive approach to rehavilitation, including an emergemcy shelter, as well as transitional and permanent housing for women served by the program. Funding is provided by Mississippi Departent of Mental Health, Department of Housing and Urban Development, and United Way at Lowndes, Clay, and North Central Mississippi. Recovery House serves the state of Mississippi. -
